I plan on getting a new Tata Sky connection. Help me with the charges for Kannada pack. HD is preferred, but I am not choosy if the savings make sense.

Are there any offers for a new customer in Bengaluru? And has it improved? Last time I experienced TS in a friend's house, signal used to turn off even on cloudy days in Bengaluru. Any help is highly appreciated.

Try to get signal set to 100 % strength or maximum at the time of installation to overcome rain disruption, this maximum setting will help in normal rain, signal might stop in heavy rain. There are few satellite apps which can be useful to fine tune the dish.

Binge+ can get signal through internet in rain, it has other advantages like restarting, recording etc, see below thread

Thanks. Yes, they have offer for 4000rs. I asked local dealers. But my requirement changed now. No longer need TS.

I am staying with my current provider.

I checked TS at a friend's house and it doesn't have better SD quality. Signal was also quite bad with just clouds and no rain. The Tata Play app though is fluid and awesome. But I came and recharged my current STB immediately.

Yes SD in Tata play is not good,some old boxes were good
