Yes, TRAI is contemplating to give more time to DPOs to implement. Most likely they will give time till February to migrate the subscribers.

Hope they rebrand all the channels as per plan let the new channels launch get delayed . Let's see what star does.

It's better that way. People can get use to the channel. So, they don't have to do heavy promotions. Specially for channels like Star Gold Thriller.

@TRAI bleed these broadcasters like telecom operators then only they will realize. Before NTO 1.0 MSO and DTH operators never reported correct count of subscribers which caused lots of revenue loss for broadcasters. They should understand and acknowledge the benefits they have received. The greed will never end for them.
