Impex IR 766 set-top box is a duplicate of SOLID HDS2 2100. The hardware used in Impex is not so good and with a slight increase/decrease in voltage causes the box software to go corrupt or the box stops working at all.
It is manufactured somewhere in Kerala. Though the service is good but the boxes are bound to turn defective at some point. A man had to send his stb 3 times for repairing within a year.Many people have various other complaints.

After spending more than Rs2000 in a MPEG4 DVB-S2 HD box, one expects some quality and long lasting thing.
