Is Chennai really on Arasu's Map??

If TRAI forces everyone to do their job as per TRAI directive then everything should be fine under a-la-carte.

Q 3. What is a basic service tier (BST). Is it compulsory to choose the BST offered by cable operator?
A. In DAS, cable operator has to compulsorily offer a package of 100 free-to-air (FTA) channels, called Basic Service Tier(BST) at a MRP of Rs. 100/-(exclusive of taxes) per month per connection. The consumer can also choose any combination of free to air channels up to 100 channels, in lieu of the basic service tier offered by the multi-system operator at a MRP of Rs. 100/-(exclusive of taxes). While Cable operator has to offer the Basic Service Tier, it is not obligatory for consumer to subscribe to the BST

So within the Basic Service Tier all the tamil channels will be available.

And if TRAI can fix a max price for FTA, Pay channel with Ad's and Ad free Pay channel then we wont have to pay much. Only TRAI can help us.

Over 26 months (2 years and 2 months) passed since this question was raised as Arasu claimed to have started beaming from Chennai from Oct 2012, till now no change on my local cable.

Does any one have any idea on Arasu status in Chennai?
Does any one who didn't have Arasu 1 or 2 years back got it now?
Has Arasu completely removed Chennai from its list?

[Users who don't like the name "Arasu" or don't want to discuss regarding the same, please ignore this post.]
