Star and viacom18 packs are combined if this two network was seperate dth has to choose packs from 2 network each for example star 50 and viacom18 50rs if we add both 100+rs But now it will be easy.and this will not affect dth and cable operator

No, pack prices increased because they increased the a-la-carte price of channels too much. Merger of broadcasters is their problem, but users should get packs at earlier prices. Most users do not want both Colors and Star Plus in the same pack as they can watch only one channel at a time.

I think increasing price of HD channels to 29 ruppees is intentional, so users can move to OTT.

Lol, we Telugu subscribers currently have been paying 69.62 including GST for all Telugu channels sd bouquet. From Feb 1st we have to pay 70 for star value pack + 25 for star Maa along with 18% Gst. There's is zero benefit for Telugu customers because of this Merger. 100+ amount should not be accepted, that too only for sd channels.

Don't buy star value pack, instead choose only individual Telugu channels from jioStar and calculate the amount
