Heard that yajamana satellite has renewed by Zee Kannada.

What Udaya TV is doing Now days? Lost a Golden Movie.Udaya TV, Star Suvarna and Colors Kannada are sleeping tightly when it comes to renewal of Old Movies.Nowdays there is no Competition in Movies Sector. if this Continues Zee Kannada will Monopoly of Kannada Movies.They are renewing old also and getting New movies also.
Udaya TV already have more 150 Movies which are going to expired. If they don't renewal then Zee will renew all the Movies.

Udaya TV should have renewed the rights of Yajamana. Only this channel can telecast it in proper primetime. Other GECs will telecast in either afternoon or evening.

Yes bro, Udaya TV is first preference everytime. They won't repeat the movies, and will give the prime time for Golden Movies.
Also Zee takes the New Movies but they won't do good promotion for New comers movies and they will give afternoon slot.Even Colors and Star Telecast movies in 6.PM / 8 PM on Sunday like abhi, sirivantha, mandya, Sri Manjunatha etc.But due to less library they are repeating.

Colors Kannada does lot of promotion for Movies so they will get good ratings. They have got Good ratings for all Kasturi TV Shared Movies.

In the recent times, the only movie which Udaya TV has renewed from another channel is Gadibidi Ganda from Colors Kannada (ETV Kannada). Firstly, they are not buying latest films mainly big budget films and secondly they are also loosing their existing library to other channels mainly to Zee Kannada.

There are movies such as Upendra starrer Nagarahaavu, Uttara Dhruvadim Dakshina Dhruvaku, Rangoli, Naanu Nanna Hendtiru etc. which have expired from Udaya TV and they have to renew them atleast in order to make their movie library strong. But again, Naanu Nanna Hendtiru might be renewed by Zee Kannada since the movie is from Rockline Productions.

Zee Kannada will surely have a monopoly if this continues.
