Udaya TV is doing a planned move. Right now the channel has very good rating. If they telecast old serials, rating will decrease. So they will bring back new serials to aquire more audience.

Coming back to Zee kannada, which had hit serials earlier will bring back old serials to retain thier old audience.

Other channels, trying to remove only low rated serials.

That is the only option to try their luck. If not they have to again start from zero which has more risk.

Serials must adopt the cureent corona situation in their stories and should bring awareness to the people more effectively who don't watch news.

You r right.. Movie ratings are temporary.. Every day it will defer. But serials are like a drug, viewership won't decrease until people found any new drug.
