Actually in kannada there is no word called dayan.. it might have looked little confusing for audience initially if they would have gone with dayan name.. Mohini consolidates all female evil spirits in it. That's why they have chosen Mohini it seems.

Yes Everything Is perfect but Kannada text Graphics missing in Star Suvarna dubbed Serials and yesterday Drusthi serial episode Lead Hero Receiving text hindi msg in mobile and Star Suvarna not observed these mistakes
Star Suvarna need to change graphics or blur the Hindi text in Serials
I think Udaya TV working Hard for both dubbing and vfx effect too

Star Suvarna should need to do that, but it requires time.

But it will be very difficult to them in latter episodes to give new names to terms like ekaayan (who is mohna 250yr old), dukayan(headed dayan) , chalayan, upayan....there are many more words related to dayan which will be difficult to term in kannada language
Plus i guess every indian is aware of word dayan, chudail, pishachini etc....even if he there is no such word in their regional mythology
Btw mohna is not evil spirit ....she is living evil supernatural entity
