I think Devatha is not Hit show like Sreemoye, Karuthumuthu ( original malayalam version got revised remaked in telugu and then in other languages), etc. Still why they are bringing this serial in Kannada?
There are many good serials with Star still they choose this serial

All those good serials have been wasted by Star Suvarna, when they were in a worst position! Also due to lockdown Pandian Stores remake went offair!

Suvarna wasted most of the hit properties of Star, even Sreemoyee and Pandian Stores !

They did good job closing some serials bcz of COVID19 Like Artigobba keerthigobba, etc.
But they wasted pandian stores also they changed timing of Inti nimma asha and wasted it, mounaragam and Sukh mhanje nakki kay aste were also wasted by them which got closed without any reason. Currently they are doing good because of movies and new serials.

This actress is doing role of Deepa's sister in Kartika deepam serial.

Not Deepa's sister role, she's playing the role of Monitha, hero's college friend as well as colleague, main female antagonist!

I think they should air dubbed content in afternoon and they should telecast good original serials in night slot so that it will help the channel compete with others gecs like Zee and Colors kannada which are ahead of Suvarna.

Currently Suvarna has only 2 hours of dubbed programming in Primetime, which will be reduced to 1.5 hours once that 8pm mytho serials comes!

Suvarna has decreased their dubbed contents, and concentrating in originals now, but sadly their impressions are decreasing (it's too early to say this, anyway its the truth as of now)

Waiting to see how Sarasu and Manasella Neene performs bw 9 to 10pm slots,
Also eagerly waiting to know Rukku's timeslot!

May be rukku will be at 7pm replacing Sangarsha as it is not doing well.
It's remake of telugu serial which comes at 12pm on Star Maa.

Yeah sangharsha is quite poor in ratings whereas 6.30pm show nd 7.30pm muddulaxmi both are doing great
