Shaji Kailas’s ‘The King and the Commissioner’ has been retitled as ‘The King 2′ and made some changes in script.
‘The King and the Commissioner’ as a sequel to the super hits ‘The King’ and ‘The Commissioner’ both film directed Shaji Kailas.it is now finalized that the project has been canceled due to some ego problems between the star actors, Mammootty and Suresh Gopi who are casted in the title roles.
In The King 2, Mammootty is playing as ‘Thevalliparambil Joseph Alex IAS’ the District Collector from the movie ‘The King’.And the famous south actress Reema Sen is finalized to play the female lead opposite to Mammootty in The King 2.
After 17 years,script writer Renji Panikkar is going to work with Shaji Kailas,for ‘King 2’ and other cast and crew details are yet to be finalized.
