Actor Mohit Malik is coming back on television with Gul Khan’s next and his new show will air on Star Plus. The show is an adaptation of the superhit Bengali show, ‘Potol Kumar Gaanwala’ that aired on Star Jalsa. The show will be produced by Gul along with Invictus T Mediaworks.

The Bengali show follows the plot of a young girl who grows up without a father but blessed with a great singing talent and aspires to become a professional singer.

Reportedly, the show will be titled as ‘Kulfi Kumar Baajewala’.

I remember one serial name in Star Jalsha called ' Tomay Amai Mile' it is the Bengali version of Hindi show Diya aur Baati Hum. Also now Aordhangini is inspired by Tu sooraj main Saanjh Piyaji.also another show Bhojena Shey Bojhena its the bengali version of popular hindi show Iss Pyaar ko kya naam doon season 1.Mon niye Kachakachi also remake version of popular hindi show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

Also now a days Colors Bangla dubbed all Colors Hindi Fantasy/mythological shows. Like naagin(1/2), kawach, shani, maakali, chandrakanta etc. Colors Bangla also remade 2 popular hindi show in bengali 1) Jhumur (Udaan) 2) Kajal Lata (swaragini)
