The top four Hindi GECs have registered decline in their GRPs for the second week in a row at the start of 2012. Although Star Plus leads the pack, the channel has recorded below 300 GRPs after a long time. However, the loss for Sony, Colors and Zee TV has been marginal in Week 2 of TAM 2012. The recently launched channel from the Star India stable, Life OK, has touched 100 GRPs in the fourth week of its launch.

Star Plus remains the leader in Hindi GEC category despite losing 24 GRPs in the second week of TAM 2012. The channel has recorded 287 GRPs (last week 311).

Sony remains the No. 2 GEC; however, the channel has lost a few GRPs to record 226 GRPs in Week 2 of TAM 2012 (last week 236).

Minus Bigg Boss, Colors has registered a marginal decline in its GRPs of 5 points. The new fiction show ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuchh Kaha’, which replaced Bigg Boss last week, managed to open at 2.2 TVR. The channel has garnered 208 GRPs (last week 213).

Zee TV too has suffered a loss of few GRPs this week, recording 180 GRPs (last week 184).

SAB TV has added a few GRPs this week too, recording 130 GRPs (last week 124).

At No. 6, Life OK has been able to hold its viewers. In its 4th week, the channel has touched the landmark of 100 GRPs (last week 98)

Imagine TV has recorded 58 GRPs this week (last week 64).

Sahara One has 38 GRPs (last week 42).

Seems that its a total win win for Star Plus even though LifeOK is eating way some of its audience share..
