What the Best HD DTH provider for South (Tamil)
I am also looking for a HD DTH connection and I mainly watch Tamil channels and Sports.
From the dicussion here it appears that Sun Direct HD is the best choice as it is cheap and has the most number of Tamil Channels.
However I have some doubts about the quality of Sun Direct STB.
I currently have a Sun Direct SD STB that I purchased two years ago and the quality is not good. The remote will work only if I go very near the STB (If the distance between the remote and STB is more than 5 ft the remote will not change the channels). Sun Direct told me to buy a new remote for Rs 200 and the new remote with the brand new battery has the same problem.
Also during rain I loose channels very quickly. However I am planning to use a 90 cm dish with a new LNB so I hope there will be some improvements.
What is the newest model of Sun Direct HD STB and who is the manufactuter.
Can some one provide a review (share their experice) of the latest Sun Direct STB?
