Janam and Mathrubhumi get Zee Keralam advertisement. Manorama may not be taking due to Mazhavil, Kairali News due to Kairali, Asianet News may be some agreement with Asianet.
News 18 & Mathrubhumi news also showed Zee Keralam promo during channel launch. Mathrubhumi's doors are always open for such things. Manorama, Asianet(star) channels strictly prohibit it.

Mathrubhumi regularly airs Zee Keralam serials advertisements, as they don't have any direct competition from Zee.
Zee has made a contract between a marketing company and this company makes deals with those channels to Air zee keralam Ads. According to public response zee programes are gaining popularity in fast. If flowers tv become paid from october 1 then it will surely boost growth rate of Zee Keralam viewers.

Asianet Movies and Plus have Malayalam graphics for ISL this time.
Can be considered as a test run for SS Malayalam. But something is delaying the launch.
Initially(ISL 1rst season) there was only malayalam commentary. Then started showing pre show in a small set up. Later pre show with experts and new anchors started. New studio was arranged. Atlast Malayalam graphics added.

Good to see Malayalam graphics, but they should use a better font.

The Star network uses only the Kohinoor font for most of its corporate applications, whether the script is Latin (English), Devanagari or Malayalam. Only three channels use the Kohinoor family consistently: Star Plus, Star Jalsha and Jalsha Movies. South channels have no fixed font. English and Marathi channels use different fonts.

Star Sports uses the Nobel font for English, but Kohinoor for Indian languages. So it will use only the Malayalam version of Kohinoor for graphics.

The Malayalam typography is very poor from this font family.
Beautiful fonts for Malayalam are available from SMC, but Star may have issues using open source fonts.
