It was launched in 2012, way before the others (except Zee Talkies). At least it was clear which language it was from. For many years, there was no obvious clue from the name alone that Zee Talkies was a Marathi channel. I personally used to get confused.

Even STAR Jalsha didn't have Bangla unlike ZEE and ETV. It gets used to with time.

No it will definitely not enter top5

But it might help to boost ratings of the channel.. Impressions might increase of star Pravah.. At all depends on twists and track,, let's see now.. Well the Attya in the serial also works in Maza hoshil na.. She's managing both the serials

Bcz of SMNKA it will get good lead nd will improve ratings of 10pm slot nd will help to increase grps

In Marathi the channels with Marathi name were most watched at the time of ETV.
Channels like ETV Marathi, Zee Marathi and Mi Marathi this were Super channels and channels like Tara Marathi and Prabhat Marathi were failures.
Saam TV and Star Pravah were new channels and were not doing great at that time but after Star Pravah brought Pudcha Paul it became no.1

Sun Marathi must be a very good channel. Considering Sun Bangla.
Colors Marathi Cinema and Colors Tamil Cinema are pending from a long time. Let's see when they launch.

Yes I hope Sun Marathi gets launched and gives tough fight to other channels and it will not be like Sony Marathi which failed because it was a channel from new network.

Moreover, Jalsha Movies was also launched in 2012. In fact tomorrow is its 8th anniversary. But it has never changed its logo or graphics even once. It should have been named Star Jalsha Movies, like Star Maa Movies.

Now Star Pravah Movies is going to Launch which will give tough fight to Zee Talkies which is a Ruler and No.1 in Movies Genre.

Hope for best as Zee Talkies bring new and good movies only on Weekends and some days in week but it repeats the same movies after a month. so Star Pravah Movies should note this and work properly they will rule in Movies market too.

Though their are less channels of movies in Marathi but competition is more, they are most watched and they can achieve more in Movies genre so this channel is getting a good opportunity.

Now they are bringing Movie channel after the success in Movies genre they will increase their portfolio.

Star Pravah Music will also get launched for sure as Music is also big market where big network channel is also present (Zee Wajva) and 9X Jhakaas and the other 2 are local music channels so they will launch a music channel as they want to compete with Zee everywhere.

Talkies is used in Marathi also so no doubt I never thought it different.

And earlier for Movies I used to watch Zee Talkies and Star Pravah, star pravah used to air good movies in the afternoon slot at that time.

Colors Marathi Cinema and Colors Tamil Cinema are pending from a long time. Let's see when they launch.

Colors tamil has very less movie titles but in Marathi they have Produced many Marathi movies and they have also acquired movies though they don't air it on Colors Marathi.

So Colors Marathi Cinema will launch first but seeing the present situation I don't think so as this channel is in loss, Earlier it was No.2 before lockdown and it was going to become No.1 that's why they announced this Movie channel and also testing now but now it's difficult for this channel.

First they need to improve Colors Marathi with good fictions, non fictions award shows and movies than after CM Gets good viewership and position they can launch the movie channel and then also increase their portfolio.
