If it is true then Star and Viacom 18 should grab this opportunity and should launch dedicated channel for rerun marathi shows and it should make available for DDFD users as Free and for paid platforms at minimal cost of Rs. 1 or 2. Then it will definitely fruitful for gaining ad revenue and trp ratings. And it will also increase marathi tv viewership, because currently due to lack of marathi tv channels availability on DDFD marathi speaking audience are diverted to Hindi channels. Apart from GECs broadcaster have to launch an movie channel specially dedicated to marathi dubbed movies. Because consumption of south indian films in maharashtra is very high and currently they getting it on Hindi movie channels, if they would get it in marathi then these also boost the viewership of marathi tv channels.
