Asianet :HD is more of a test feed now ,

After launching in other platforms it would be definitely simulcast...
Similar thing happened to Colors Infinity. ...

For those think it would be different feed for lifetime, do u want to watch 2 serial at a time :hehe

But within few weeks Asianet :HD would be launched in other dth also...Then it would be simulcast :k as Star hardly use separate feeds.

Guys, only because showing same serials or any other programs we can't call a channel as simulcast. Only when they are airing exactly the same frame during each second in both SD and HD channels (like Sun HD, Fox Life HD and Nat Geo Wild HD) but with different aspect ratio we can call it as simulcast.

But if you look at Star Plus, Zee TV, Colors, they are showing same programs (most of the time) but there will be a difference in timing by at least a minute. Advertisements will also be different. We can't call them as simulcast.

but if they are going to follow the same program pattern of asianet sd during weekdays( only 1 movie per day), then I personally wouldn't want this channel...

I guess HD channels are launched for quality. If they want to show more movies then they should launch Asianet Movies HD.

I am not saying I want only movies, but just want it to telecast different types of program unlike its sd which I dont even bother watching on weekdays...
