Really, No Shame at all. I cannot believe how Airtel is giving all the Sports Channel including Ten Golf which is Rs. 200/ month in base pack. Even Dish Tv fails to give,Tata Sky is useless nowadays They can exclude Neo Channels and add Ten Cricket, Ten Sports, Ten Action in the base pack. Many say they are going to add more channels in 1 month, 2 months, 3 months. This same story is going in all forums from past 1 year, Ears are paining. Tata Sky customers should shift to either Airtel or Videocon.

Reasons why to add Ten Channels in Base Pack

TEN CRICKET Can be added because matches are shown live not only Indian but also other matches are live like South Africa, Pakistan, West Indies, for Cricket Lovers.

TEN SPORTS can be added for the ongoing Moscow Events,WWE which is now telecasted very quickly after it happens, Tennis ATP TOUR

TEN ACTION for Football Lovers

But they are not adding because of the Zee and Star Rivalry, which the Airtel and Videocon are taking profit and gaining customers, Why people should suffer because of their stupid promises they give before buying DTH and later we suffer.

they have no shame at all. grands sports was expensive without ten sports channels now its worse.

what will they do when they add new channels? bet it will cost upto Rs 800/month

One thing is for sure if Tata Sky will hike the price to rupees 800/- month immediately others will follow suit. To exhibit their customer friendly face they may keep prices a bit low for example Rs.799/- month.....

If you see, they just matched the Airtel pricing of Ultra pack. I bet TS is in process of adding more channels and their target is Airtel because quality wise (NDS + STB quality + online experience etc) TS and Airtel are mostly similar than when compared to other operators.

Now Airtel, knowing that TS is going MPEG4 has suddenly woken up from coma and started adding ROI channels. 9x package added in Airtel, TS will have to follow. Also, UTV stars added in lesser packages (was not even available on Ultra). So Airtel is fortifying its fortress from the TS attack (if and when it comes)

Its funny however, that when Airtel came into existance, it directly started competing with TS and matched every scheme (15/- cash back on recharge and all). But since then, they have moved way beyond TS in terms of channels, so now they are most understandably concerned about TS's MPEG4...

Its ironic that digitization has not brought relief to customers. With digitization, more money is collected by the broadcaster, people paying the same, so the prices from broadcasters must reduce and it should be suitably reduced at MSO/DTH end, otherwise its all eyewash at the expense of the middle class.

Now broadcusters are sucking huge money from the people through digitisation. before this cable operators hide actual viewer no. and paid less money for long time. but dth operators cant hide anything so dth people paid more. after digitisation dth package rate should reduced..

Tata Sky's main problem is that they dont have the ten channels in base packs . They are only providing these on mega pack which is too costly. Besides they are not adding Zee Bangla Cinema becasue of rivarly with dish. This is hampering their customers a lot.

UTV STARS WAS AVAILABLE IN ULTRA PACK EVEN BEFORE APRIL 2013.ITS 4 MONTHS TILL DATE. ONLY IT WAS ADDED IN MEGA PACK 2 DAYS BEFORE. In Airtel we have many good channels which Tata Sky Do not have but still charging the huge amount.
