Can i complain against ADTV for not carrying DD News HD? It is also a DD channel.

That's exactly what I was gonna ask. Why aren't DD's HD channels not available in all platform? And why is HD channel counted against channel count on available dth operator.

It is mandatory to carry all DD channels notified by MIB. DD HD channels are not notified for mandatory carriage. So it is up to DPOs to carry them or not.

I suggest to completely replace DD SD with DD HD for national & News channels. No need to mandatory carry same channel twice thus wasting bandwidth capacity.
