The road shows are a collaborative effort between MoT and Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO). Ministry sources informed that Subodh Kant Sahai, Minister of Tourism; Government of India will lead a delegation of Ministry officials and select members of IATO for the road shows in America. However, according to sources in MoT, the approval for the proposed dates of the road shows is still awaited from the Tourism Minister’s office. IATO has identified USA as an important inbound market for India. These road shows, which kicked off on May, 9, 2011 will conclude on May, 15, 2011.
