In November last year, Essel has announced that the company will sell a part of its stake in Zee Entertainment to a global strategic investor.
Currently, Zee is available through its television presence across 117 countries.

Welcome .. btw SPN n Zee had good relationship before also .. Sony Acquired Zee's sports channels n now Acquiring some stakes on Zee .. But I'm not happy as SPN is not doing well in India specially their main channel SET

Sony and Zee coming together will be too strong even for Disney-Star as Zee and Sony are both huge networks in India. This will never happen. But Zee may be purchased by a big American company (at least some stake) and no longer be 100% Indian like Sun.
