Mumbai, May 27: A Mumbai-Hyderabad SpiceJet flight has escaped a massive accident by a whisker on Friday, May 27. The flight made an emergency landing in Mumbai at the wee hours of Friday.
Fire scare scattered among the flight passengers when an emergency fire-alarm was heard. For the safety of the air-travellers, the flight landed in Mumbai International airport.
On Thursday, a Mumbai-bound Kingfisher flight was also grounded at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel airport after it suffered a bird hit. The Airport Authority of India (AAI) informed, "Kingfisher flight IT-3172 was grounded here within couple of minutes after take off following a bird hit."
Passengers of the Kingfisher flight were accommodated in alternative Mumbai-bound flights of SpiceJet and Jet Airways, an AAI official said adding those demanding refunds were given back money.
