@premms: Well, I do understand ur concern, but a DTH has some constraints of its own. If so many Tamil channels will be added then, it becomes a region specific DTH.
It has to cater to whole of India, and hence has to create a balance between all the regions.

Already, In terms of regional languages, every DTH has the most no. of channels under regional category to be Tamil.

Yes, If they have TP space then they can add, but I dont think so many Tamil channels wud do justice to other genre channels and other regional language channels, considering the limited TP space every DTH has.
