South india is a huge market for paid DTH, so only DD free Dish also not having any private channels for south indians, i think

As name suggests, they are "free to air" channels no coding or restriction on their telecast. Anybody get these channels directly from 93.5° East satellite.

DD free dish till now only popular in North states therefore only north channels are interested in DD free dish,now slowly Bengali and maratha channels are also taking interest and more channels from this states coming.As there is huge fee of crores of Rupees to get channel in DD free dish,only those channels are interested who get audience for same

Because of sun network channels only make this, south indians mostly like sun network channels, so people not interest in DDFD also other private channels not interest in DDFD
