NCF Starts At ₹94 Per Month for first 100 SD Channels On Secondary Connection

Bro dth players geting more revenue from fta channels compare to pay channels,
they are not charging NCF on FTA channels so that we can subscribe more channels then they will get more profit.
But bro airtel is counting these fta channels in the 100 channels list while tata sky is not. Why airtel is doing that if others are not?

I think you explained in opposite way. The more we subscribe a FTA ch the less carriage fee DPO will get as per TRAI 20% rule. And if a FTA ch cross 20% subscriber then DPO's income will be zero from that FTA ch.

For example TS provide 193 FTA chs, so these chs will have 100% penetration. SO TS will get zero carriage fee from these chs. TS will have to look at other FTA chs which has less than 20% penetration

Bro I explained as per dpo, broadcaster's previous agreement not as per new rules

I think @Hellboy is asking as per new rules as he included NCF in conversation
Let me explain you what I want to know.
My Nanaji has a new tata sky connection at their house and I have an Airtel in mine.
When I selected their package fta channels are not included in 100 channels for 153 rs and tata sky is giving those FTA channels for free. And when i selected channels for my airtel dth , the FTA channels were counted in 100 channels. Why airtel is not giving them free like tata sky is giving?
Thats what I want to know. Thanks for reading!

Bro Airtel is busy in implimenting new rules ,
Once all done then we will expect better offers then others like before.

There are two types of FTA chs in TS. 193 FTA chs in FTA promo pack are not counted in NCF but other FTA chs which are not in that 193 FTA promo pack like 9X Jalwa, 9XM, DW, Republic TV ,9x Tashan are counted in NCF slab of 100 chs. These are also the chs which are likely to pay(but cannot confirm as if they managed to get 20% subscribers then they can ride TS without any carriage fee) carriage fee as their subscribes might be less than 20% of total TS subscribers as individual subscribers need to select these chs separately.

Point to note here is that DD chs are in that 193 FTA promo pack so TS allow all 100 SD(or 50 HD) chs to select in first slab of Rs 130+tax.
