New Ui is for other hardware (Two Cal-Comp boxes). Huwaei box might have less powerful processor and less memory.

Huawei box doesn't need any polished modern UI, it already have best hardware in it which is enough for long run, which proves Old Is Gold.

Fair point though. Last thing we want is a laggy stb due to resource hungry software loaded on to a lesser endowed machine.
