Seeking Help Package change help | fixed pay term offer

Hello Everyone,

I have a DishTV HD connection with HD royal, I try to downgrade my package as I only watch HD channels and if you downgrade to Base Pack : Bharath Pack/Monthly
HD: Full - ON HD i can cut my cost in half and have more HD channels as well.

when i asked DishTV they told me i can't. here's the reply

"This is with reference to your e-mail, we would like to inform you that as
per our records your VC is running under fixed pay term offer till the
switch off date 09/Jan/2018 and due to this reason you we are unable to
downgrade your pack."


can someone please help me on this, and let me know if the package change can be done ? i did email dishtv back asking if i can do it after
the switch off date 09/Jan/2018 but still no reply.
