dth operator failed with Cable operator Competition ! Currently DEN And many Other MSO Provide 250+ Channel @150/- Per month, First Dth operator Increasing charges Of new connection Also monthly Rent, Last month Rs.500 Reduce On New Connection Charges and Now "10+2 Month " showing Dth operator Go Back....

My MSO provides around 350 channels @ Rs 275 PM or 2500 PY. MSO provides almost all major channels. Most DTH providers charge min Rs 220 PM for north package. Comparing price increase by cable & DTH, min price for DTH will surpass MSO price by around 2016. DTH providers are increasing price by atleast 15% PY.

What you guys says dth will be clear winner because MSO are only present in big cities.
Even i was using digital cable 2yrs ago.Same lco provide analog cable.But i didn't find any difference in pq.

DTH price should be come down if they want more profit in long run and reduce churn. Also new connection price should be only Rs 500 or more. DTH has the potential to overcome the present bad conditions.
