Hello All,

I'm subscribed to Tata Sky Satellite Television Service in Ahmedabad, India. My set-top box is Tata Sky Plus HD. It is a single TV connection. My dish antenna has a 'Super LNB'.

I have a question: Can I expect any degradation in performance if the 'Super LNB' is replaced by a normal LNB?

Thanks in advance.

Yes the performance will degrade in rains if you replace super lnb with normal lnb. Super lnb is more powerful and works even in cloudy/rainy weather.
