is the best...(
But their price no one can affordable...
Atleast not for Indian middle class...
Compared price between India vs Australia...

Even Astro Cricket (Malaysia) and Sky Sports Cricket (Europe) they don't show ads at all but for that they charge a Premium Price.

What is the price?

This time the ads in Star sports are annoying. Earlier it was somewhat managable.

India and Foreign Countries have different business strategies for Sports broadcasting

Not sure about current prices but they charge Rs.1000 to Rs.1500 per month for sports channels be it in DTH or OTT platforms in developed countries like US, Europe, Malaysia,Singapore, Dubai Etc In short these channels, directly charge customers to recover their expenditure.

As for in India, Sports channels Costs Rs.22 per month which is very cheap if we compare. To recover their expenditure they sell Ad slots for high prices and try to fit as many ads as possible.

Even if they implement 1st business model in a country like India 90% people can't / won't pay premium fee they rather directly use pirated apps. So, 1st business model will never work in our country.

In a nutshell, we're struck with watching ads for now unless other big players like Amazon and Netflix comes and change the scenario.

Did u note that worst cricket telecasting in STAR Sports TV channels - world cup t20 (all channels follow the same in recent days) in tv channels telecast. Their aim is money money..not customer viewing experiance... Like

1.Ads started immediately once batsman out. Not able to see replay IN TV telecast..(earlier they show till batsman walk to pavilion)

2. TV Telecast resume only bowler half of the way running for bowl the over.

3. Ads telecast more than a minute in between over complete, wicket fall, review, etcc....

Not sure that how we can get good experiance watch cricket/sports.

IBF should take action. Not sure they know this much customer facing pbm or not.

Paychannels should stop telecast ads or less than 5 to 10 secs only for each situation.

Very worst cricket telecasting in private TV channels OF Star and sony. DD SPORTS 1.0 IS BETTER.

No one feel this trouble.

During yesterday's IND Vs SCO match, M. Shami took 3 wickets in a row. After the first wicket was taken, ads started to play and continued to play a bit longer than usual. Suddenly, Star Sports showed Shami taking the second wicket in a hurry i.e., just for 5 to 8 seconds and just skipped that part and ads were continued. No replay was shown by Star Sports after the wicket was taken.

Even when players get out, ads are played and by the time the match telecast is resumed, one or two balls in an over will be completed. Same thing happens when ads are telecasted after an over is completed.

Really unhappy with Star Sports network that too after yesterday's match!!

They cheting viewers. Since no one from viewers can't ask any.

Though we ask , they won't care and might think..why should care.

BCCI or IBF or govt level should escalate.

Earlier ads less(in min), cricket telecast more(in hour).
Now ads more(in hour), cricket telecast less(in seconds)

Production is excellent. Ads could be properly placed. You need to highlight this to them on twitter.

I think Star is losing out on a premium market. They could introduce a high cost plan with ad-free cricket. But Is the market ready to pay around ₹1600 for ad-free cricket a month?

that could be feasible if they get rights from ECB & CA along with BCCI, ICC & IPL.
Regarding production, i believe graphics could have been more sleek like Sony uses nowadays.

Same case with Hotstar. Watch the second match on Hotstar. So many ads after every wicket. Really awful experience. I remember watching full ad-free cricket on Sony LIV app in 2018. Unfortunately, they followed the Hotstar model.
