It looks like Prachi Desai's Kollywood debut will also be deferred as she has been officially dropped from Arun Vijay's Thadaiyara Thaaka.
"Yes, Prachi has been dropped from the project because of her lackadaisical attitude towards the film. She initially signed the project and then didn't turn up on the sets, saying that her father was unwell.
But after that, we didn't hear from her. Since we had date issues with her, there was even a break in the schedule. We have shortlisted two girls from Bangalore now to replace Prachi. One of them has done two films in Tamil. We will announce our decision soon. Almost 40% of the shoot is over and we are now gearing up for the next session," says Arun Vijay. Prachi was unavailable for comment.
