As per Republic tv reply It will air on DD national channels of dth and digital cable not on DD free dish

Thats the twist if they wanted to reach ddfd audience they would have broadcasted on ss first without any need of revenue sharing.
Govt. Didn't gave them license and forced them to do so ..

Surely it doesn't fall under Mandatory Sharing Obligation, else matches would have been live.
Maybe, the uplink permission, for IPL Broadcast, is pending, to get it done hassle free, STAR would have agreed.

50:50 revenue sharing would be of revenue generated by DD by this telecast, in its worst nightmare also STAR won't share its own revenue.
