Folks,

Need help as i am unable to access VoD on my TataSky +HD.
The menu items when accessing VoD are not displayed. The Menu's show up as "Loading" and after about 30 seconds the message "REQUEST TIMED OUT, PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER(4)" is shown.

The same problem is seen with either the Ethernet connection or with the WiFi dongle.

TataSky technicians have been unable to solve the problem.
According to the TataSky VoD department in Delhi they suspect the Internet Service Provider i am using.
My ISP is Airtel and I have a 4 Mbps line.
I even contacted Airtel customer care and they confirmed that they are not blocking any IP Address or Protocols at their end.

This has been bugging me for the past 2 weeks.
Any help / guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Live in delhi. Easily accessible through mtnl. Try and Hotspot through your mobile. If that doesn't work then there's problem from TS's side.

I have this problem whenever i connect from Wifi-Router.

using Airtel 8Mbps..

Connect the Modem cable directly to Tatasky - It should work then, it doesnt work when it routed through router.

I have stopped trying to fix it, as it just refuses to work - Though in settings it shows connection status as connected.

Tried this last night and it worked.. i am baffled.

I have a Belkin N150 ADSL modem + WiFI router and TataSky STB just does not want to route data through it .. via Ethernet or WiFi.
So i went back to the Binatone DSL modem it worked ( I have to go the Ethernet way here as it is just a modem and not a WiFi router :( ).

Spent all of last night looking for Belkin N150 config options to see if the router is blocking any out going traffic but no luck. When i connect my laptop to the router WiFi or Ethernet everything is smooth .. all traffic seems to be going through although i cannot be sure as the TataSky STB could be using some protocols that may be blocked by the Belkin Modem + router.

This problem started occurring recently, about 3 weeks ago. Before that everything worked well. There could be some bug / incompatibility that was introduced with the new STB software.

VOD is a additional package, which u have pay extra. Some DTH providers gives it free, others will want an extra cost.mostly, VOD are top movies or programmes
