Reasons to choose SUN DTH over other DTH

Very good artical.. Jeevan TV is not exclusive its available in videocon d2h as a part of active services.. u compare bangla channels with airtel, tata sky but not with dish tv, d2h.. Dish TV , airtel, D2h, and RD TV has more Bangla channels than sun direct.
Its good that sun direct have some Exclusive channels from their Sun Network..

See if we compare with Bangla channels of Airtel, Sun we will see that Airtel does not provide DD -Bangla in full screen which SUN does & which is a big disadvantage on the part of airtel. Then again Tata Sky does not provide any Bengali Channels in their South Packs. Suppose any person due to job commitments have to leave in South India & has taken Tata Sky then he will not get a single Bengali Channel except DD -Bangla. Where as in SUN DTH he will be getting in South Packs: DD -Bangla + Aakash Bangla + Sangeet Bangla + Star Utsav Bangla + Discovery Bangla + NGC Bangla - 6 Bangla Channels. Again, Aakash Bangla, Sangeet Bangla not available on South Packs of DISH TV. DISH TV does not have Star Utsav Bangla on their platform which SUN DTH has. Till very recently D2H used to have DD -Bangla as a part of their Active Services. Just few months back its transformed to a full screen channel. But SUN DTH has DD -Bangla as a full screen channel right from Day 1. So these small things are also needed to be considered.

Yes sun direct is cheap but less chanels in package . If u compare price 165&200 then pls compare chanels too. I'm using bengali mega shine pack cost 185/m and other dth have 200/m but they have more atractive chanels in theire package too. So pls my friend COMPARE FULL

and it's not very true that SUN DIRECT IS THE BEST, agr main yeh kehta hu ki sundirect ke sivay koi aisa dth nahi hai kam paiso me itne sare chanells dete hai to fir yeh v kehna hoga k ITNE CHANELLS KE ISSE JYADA PAISA DIA V NAHI JA SAKTA, if we compare base pack in other dth for NORTH there is min 200/- per month but extra channel jaise- LIFE OK,ZEE NEWS, IBN 7, ANIMAL PLANET, HISTORY TV 18, BENGALI CHANELLS LIKE- NEWS TIME, RUPOSI BANGLA, DHOOM MUSIC, ZEE BANGLA CINEMA, SONY 8, DHOOM CINEMA, 24 GHANTA, IN BENGALI FEED- DISCOVERY,NGC,HISTORY,SONIC,STAR UTSAV, IN MUSIC-ZING,MASTI,MTUNES and many more

Firstly, Star Utsav Bangla not available on DISH TV. 100% Confirmed news because DISH TV get this channel through DD Direct + & DD direct being a FTA platform cannot have any language feeds. Then again the biggest disadvantage of DISH TV is that it depends on DD Direct + for many of its channels. If DD Direct removes any channel from their platform it automatically gets removed from DISH TV as well. This is not the case with SUN DTH. Channels like Star Utsav, 9XM, PTC News, DD -Bharati, MH One Music etc (also part of DD Direct +) shall never be removed from SUN even if they are removed from DD Direct +. As far as Bengali is concerned the most popular Bengali News Channels are available on SUN DTH - ABP Ananda & Aakash Bangla. Then if we talk about Bengali Movies, ETV Bangla regularly telecasts Bengali Movie in the afternoon. All the latest Bengali Songs are available on Sangeet Bangla which is available on SUN DTH. Then again DD -Bangla available on full screen unlike Airtel or Videocon. Zee Bangla, the most popular Bengali Entertainment Channel available on SUN DTH. No one can prove that one service provider is best . Every dth co have there own blind fan like me i'm the blind fan of DDD+ no one can convince against it.

why Sun direct is behind airtel and Videocon d2h in Channel counts sun direct starts in 2005 But airtel( '08), and d2h('09)

Yes its minimum pack is cheap as low as 143 rs.
Remote is user friendly than videocon.(i used both )

Karthik, I am using videocon hd d2h about 1.5 months. Earlier Planned to buy sun direct hd, but after hearing their customer service I bought d2h. But now i am feeling that it was good for North india. bcoz there is no Tamil hd out of 21 HD channels. So I am thinking that to swap to Sun direct. So can you give me a suggestion.? Is it good to move Sundirect HD.? how much monthly rent for regional and world sports pack? Also I heard that Sun Direct HD is not a original HD and the screen was stretched SD. Is it true? Please compare d2h HD channels VS Sun Direct HD channels.
