That is the problem with D2H remote. It will behave like this after some months. I faced this in 2015 and they didn't solve this even now! Changing the remote is the only solution.

Most of us are the victims of their worst hardware ...:s
I think replacing the remote is the only solution...

Pry it open, rub the circuit boards contact surface with surgical spirit...wash the rubber keypad from both sides with soap n water, dry thoroughly...this extended the life of battery and remote, no need to replace...
