Tata sky does not have DD national HD.

No DTH has DD National HD. Only some cable operators in Tamil Nadu have it (along with Jaya HD!). Moreover, @hindifun bro can get DD National HD on his DTT transmission in Delhi. And of course our sat trackers (particularly @Gssran) can see it.
Tata Sky added DD National HD on 1 April 2017. But the reception was extremely negative (all the programmes had black bars at the sides) so it was removed after 20 days.
BTW Colors HD aired the Republic Day parade until 2016. In 2017 nobody (except DD HD) aired it in HD.

Bad news for Sun Direct viewers. SAB TV is the one and only Hindi GEC in HD which is not on Sun Direct, so Sun misses out on Republic Day in HD. Compare that to January 2017, where (until Sankranti) Star Plus was the one and only Hindi GEC in HD on Sun Direct.
