Tamil version was plenty boring. Dunno what Hindi version will offer. This worked based on promotion. Unless they can rope in high profile actors with cult following. I don't think it will succeed.

Bollywood superstar has now signed the Hindi remake of Suriya’s Tamil blockbuster Soorarai Pottru—an emotional biographical drama inspired by the life of Air Deccan founder Capt. G.R. Gopinath. Sudha Kongara Prasad, who helmed the original 2020 film, will direct the remake as well, while Vikram Malhotra of Abundantia Entertainment is producing it alongside Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.

Radhika Madan has been roped in to play the female lead of Soorarai Pottru remake. She will reportedly be stepping into Aparna Balamuralia’s shoes for the movie. Talking about it, a source told Mid Day, “The film is in pre-production stage, with the director having reportedly set the adaptation in western India. In all likelihood, Radhika will play a woman from rural Maharashtra. She will have to learn a specific dialect before the film goes on floors
