I think, it is Intelsat17 footprint. If you want South Indian FTA channels, you should buy atleast 6ft c band dish and Mpeg-4 DVB-S2 supported STB.

Some of my friends told me that one dth's signal reaches NZ & Aus on big Dishes,
@ Gups, you can ask people who are using india satellite in Australia,
You have to try himself.
