It seems the channel rates are very very cheap in a-la-carte. There are channels available for Re.1/- as well.

Sports: Costly is TEN Gold (Rs.45/-), next costly is Neo Prime, Sony SIX, SS1, SS4, Ten Action, Ten Cricket (Rs.14/-)

Movies (All Language): Costly is Sun Action, Surya Action, Gemini Action, Suriyan TV (Rs.16/-), next cosly is Sony Max (Rs.8/-), next costly is Gemini Movies, HBO, Maa Movies, Movies Now, Movies OK, Star Gold, Star Movies (Rs.7/-)

Not even 20% of cable viewers have opted for SCV STB for the past decade because of high cost STB price (priced at Rs2000+) and high package cost (Platinum pack at Rs375+)

Why didn't SCV offer this deal for the past decade?
(Note:CAS introduced in Chennai in 2001 for the first time in India to just boost their cable business.)

They had a strong monopoly business and didn't allow a second MSO like Hathway or JAK to serve TN..

From the past experiences, I strongly believe...

Its all traditional cheap tactics & strategy of SUN GROUP..
