After almost 12 years with the company, Seema Mohapatra has resigned from BBC Worldwide as the Regional Director, South Asia of BBC Advertising, BBC Worldwide’s ad sales company. Mohapatra has confirmed the development to exchange4media.
In her current role, Mohapatra was leading the revenue function of BBC World News, BBC Entertainment and BBC.com. She has been with the company since 1999 and has contributed to the company’s growth from a single channel entity to a multi-channel, multi-platform set up.
It is understood that BBC is yet to announce a successor for the role. Mohapatra did not offer any comments on her destination next yet.
