I manually updated the STB but till showing 506 version.

optimus bro, it means you are having the updated version, bro don't update your stb manually again and again frequently as it would hamper the life of your stb.

how does updating again & again hamper the life of stb, plz elaborate.. bcs I used to do it many times earlier but now can't do bcs of no signal on 1 tp..

yes bro it reduce ur stb life coz overwriting the s/w again & again stb s/w program get disturb so it may cause some pblm :nj ..

if that happens what can be done to overcome the arising problem? (as there is no option of permanent hard resetting the box also like mobile s/w..)
