I think ISRO/Antrix no more want to let Indian DTH use foreign SATs, as we all know very well that Tata sky started to use Gsat 10 at last after a huge 3/4years long duration fight with Antrix, and Sun Direct and Rdtv still struggling where foreign Sat is available @ same location. Now Indian DTHs have to wait for Indian SATs only if they need more bandwidth...

Rushil bro earlier reference states more than 200 but see this which clearly states it will have 220 transponder of 36 Mhz. So no more transponder shortage in India hya
