Can't really understand what Sony Originals is. Most of the shows are Originals only, expect shows based on real Kings and Mythology.

Shows will be made like films. The budget will be relatively high there will be limited episodes.

Not like typical family drama serials. here content will matter not ratings.

Here they'll finish shooting first & then release it. That's something like Zindagi channel's content.

Some of the shows included are KRPKAB season2, prithvi vallabh, porus.

Don't worry. This will almost never happen.

Star already failed a lot of times with good content. Sony will learn same lesson with this.
Even a whole zindagi channel failed.

Such content will only work in 2 cases.

1 . if people change their mentality & switch to this content instead of saas bahu sagas which has nothing new to offer.

2 . if government makes some rule that each show produced in India should have max.200 episodes each being an half hour one.

Thus all channels will try to give good content. Audience has to shift to good content over typical serials.
