Dhoom 3, the Aamir Khan action packed thriller premieres on Sunday, 27th July at 1 pm and 8pm on MAX, the premium Hindi movies and special events channel.
The film which is powered by its action sequences is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and has an impressive star line up comprising of Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Uday Chopra and Jackie Shroff. A big budget film with its unique but catchy tune, leather boots, electric guitars and superb action scenes, makes it a must watch for viewers at home.
The movie centres around Sahir Khan (Aamir Khan) a circus entertainer who in his quest to avenge his father’s death becomes a serial bank robber. He puts his acrobatic circus skills to use to escape from the cops each time. Mesmerizing Aaliya (Katrina Kaif) who is the female lead acrobat lends the glamour quotient to the film. The plot unfolds with cops ACP Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) and his partner, Ali (Uday Chopra) assigned to putting an end to the bank heists who get foxed with Aamir’s twin.
Speaking about essaying a negative role in the film, Aamir Khan said, "I want to exploit my talent as an actor to the hilt. I want to do different kind of films and don’t believe in limiting myself."
Commenting on the visual effects used in the film, director, Vijay Krishna Acharya said, “We knew we were set up for a film with a certain amount of visual effects. We called the VFX team and I told him that the biggest visual effect of the film is the double. That must look as real and as seamless as possible.”
So if you’re up for a high octane action packed weekend, catch ‘Dhoom 3’ which premieres on Sunday, 27th July at 1pm and 8 pm only on Sony MAX
