Should be HD base pack with sd add on.

Now a days every popular channels have HD feed and every dth will add them in near future. (Tata sky already added them maximum). So why we pay for both sd and HD. If I subscribe HD, I will not watch sd version of that same channel. So there should be HD base pack and sd add on pack for regional, kids, news channels etc.

SD count is around 400 n u want to make SD as add on n HD havin under 80 count as base pack..in current situation,the major part of revenue comes from SD channels..with current content cost of HD channels..customer will end up spendin all his monthly dth budget on HD..

I used to pay Rs 150 for 50 sd(Watchable other 25 had to much noise so useless ) chs in analogue cable. I don't see why 50-60 HD chs cannot be a Base pack of Rs 300 [emoji19]

400 sd channel I have not watch. Because I cant understand south language and south people dont watch east channel like ordia, bengali or assomia etc. But I think HD channels are popular and most HD subscriber watch them. It may cost 250 or 300 for all HD channels.

Not every channel is in a position to launch a HD feed due to high cost ..if HD becomes base pack..then major networks who can able to launch HD Feed will rule while only SD channels will go back seat as customers will prefer HD over SD..n just selected available HD channels will consume 300-350/- a month..the normal subscribers who watches fav SD channels havin no HD feeds will be forced to subscribe HD to get SD channels.. DTH will loose major part of revenues which comes from SD channels..revenue is one of the imp money source to run business..
