Some SunShine Centres are charging more than company Rates

Sun Direct Started Service Centers named as sunshine for concentrating more on their after sales service..
but some of the sun shine centers are charging more than company fixed rates !!

I had a experience .. I bought a sun direct LNB from Nearby Sunshine Centre ,they Charged me Rs200 , company rate is 150 only

They charging more for replacing stbs also

company Rate
--------------------------------
STB Rs 200 only
LNB Rs 150 only
Dish (without lnb and Cable) Rs400
​

An addition of 150 rupees as service charge will be charged if Technician visits the field

but in case if we go directly and replace the defected item From the sunshine franchisee ,there is no need to pay the service charges

If anyone faced such issue just post it here

This thread will be reported to sun direct nodal officers

Yea might be recently my brother also had similar issues when he shifted the house and he asked about nearyly 500 rs by changing the lnb and relocation:angry and then he blasted the cc and reduced the price

I wanted to replace a defective SUN Direct SD STB.


Gave it to Sun shine center at Pattom TRIVANDRUM (KERALA).

they told replacement charges as

Rs.350 for normal SD STB.
Rs.450 for SD+ recording box.

replacement stb s available are old.

Bro contact cc,i think they will replace the new stb but 150/Rs.175 technician charge applicable :k

today contacted SUN Direct customer care @ 18001237575

enquired about STB replacement charges.

They told charges as below:


Rs 350 ( Technician will come home to collect defective STB )
Rs 275 ( if we give it to SUN shine center directly )

:NOTE: It is same price for both normal STB / Recording STB


So SUN Shine centers is looting customers.

i will go there and will talk with manager .

If they refuse i ll complain to nodal officers ..
