They've shut because of Overlapping channels with Zee but after the deal failed because of Fraud Owners of Zee .

That does not look entirely true because they could have done that after merger as well but Sony started shutting down channels and if zee merger was the reason then they could have brought some of those channels back after failed merger but they did not and it is in the articles as well where they said they are they are in serious losses after NTO & covid era.

Their channel pricing and ott pricing have zero value for money as of now, and their trp is at all time low.

Management is not sh#t , They shutdown Sony wah because that was only one channel in dd free dish from Sony , meanwhile other broadcaster most channels are in dd free dish, they are completely dependent on dd free dish that's why they did free, Sony wah can't be free because Sony struggling to get ad revenue, in other hand there subscription revenue is increasing day by day, that's why they prefer to keep paid channel.

There could be one more reason may be they are preparing for tdsat meeting in February in which they will answer to tdsat to keep Sony wah in dd free dish, because Sony not removed Sony wah from dd free dish, they just stopped the transmission. They might preparing to answer for this decision of tdsat.

What about their pay channel, Sony TV content is awful and they have very low trp, Sony max keep on showing south Indian movies dubbed in hindi, they should keep max only for bollywood movies, content on pix is very repetitive and boring, they always show 2012, IT and IT 2, they destroyed everything good that they had, their sports business is only area where they are decent but they lost WWE rights as well, They turned SAB from a comedy/lightweight channel into serious daily soaps channel just like other channels, SAB lost its originality, sony management is definitely awful, no doubt about that.

Bro Sony losed rights because WWE not allowed them , they may be launching max 1 for Bollywood and normal max for South.

I Understand that you are big fan of Sony but there is no harm in accepting the truth, Sony Network has lost its charm in last few years, New Management might inprove the picture but only time will tell.
