South Sports pack - only for South zone?

I've query regarding a base pack available on TataSky - South Sports.
Is this available only in Southern states? I stay in Mumbai, Can I subscribe to this base pack?

This pack doesn't show up when I browse help section on TV. However this pack is shows up when I log on to 'MyTataSky.com'.

Has anybody outside of Southern zone subscribed this pack?
Then what happens to regional pack - can I choose any language or forced to pick up southern language only?

Ridiculously South sports neither contains any southern language channels nor all sports packs in the base pack. You have the option to subscribe for any two regional language packs free of cost and can subscribe for and pack or any individual alacarte channel by paying extra bucks.
I have subscribed for then had dropped this pack once.

@prasad you can subscribe to any base pack and addons across india. But if you want to watch hindi gec and hindi movies then i suggest you to go for dhamaal mix pack.

@harshbardhan i believe they call it south sports because its not useful for north india as you cannot get hindi gec (except the 4 already in the pack) in this south sports pack as addons

South Sports Pack can be susbcribed in North even. When I used to have Tata Sky I subscribed once in Kolkata. And as far as regional packs are concerned you can take any two regional packs free. It is not at all mandatory to choose South Regional Packs only. You can even subscribe to Bengali + Odia & Hindi like I did a year back.
