Bro check out SIPN Ceo article . Its evident they are looking to strengthen SET as of now .with that in mind they will not try zee as of now.
Zee also is not ready , if it again goes behind sony , the shares will fall even deeper hurting them more.

Sony already has two regional channels, but neither is doing well. Therefore, instead of acquiring regional networks, Sony should try for joint ventures. Sony will provide some financial aids and premium content for dubbing and current owner will run channels. A 50:50 JV is good option.
