Should Sports Networks have Regional Channels?

Last year both party sign agreement
 
Something Star Sports should do is. Shut down multiple channels. Keep Star Sports 1 and 2 with both Hindi and English commentary. There is Star Sports Select 1 and 2 for niche events. Add Hindi audio feeds here as well. There you go. You got 4 mainstream channels. Than you have luxury to have as many regional sports channels you want without anyone complaining. If you have less channels and more content. Use most out of it. Even when you are airing highlights. Most people won't complain as there will be time when all cricket, football and F1 would be at same time.

They will not shut Hindi Sports channel as it has gr8 revenue model and Star Sports 3 also needed as many times there is overlapping of live sports content. Niche Sports r still airing on Select 1 and 2. Next year i think Star/disney will not opt for IPL if price is too high then we might see more investment in other sports. Hope for the best. Even Sony has 2 chs airing mostly cricket apart from WWE

TEN 3, Sony Six and even TEN 4 except when some big events like Olympics is happening or few days bfore and after it which is reserved for highlights

I am sorry to rain in your parade here. Ten 3 is usually busy with fresh WWE content in Hindi which is there almost everyday. It even airs UFC's pay per views. Same is the case with Ten 4 minus the UFC content here.
